Class format:

Demo work done by the class instructor followed by heavy hands-on training.  No models needed – you are the model for your classmate and vice-versa to provide the most intensive training possible.

Overview:

Artists will learn the fundamentals of makeup artistry in this four-hour hands-on class.  Take an in-depth look at what a professional makeup application should include.

Class will begin with a full face makeup application demonstration, followed by hands-on practice.  A low student: instructor ratio will be followed to guarantee all attendees receive ample hands on assistance with instructors.

Makeup Artistry: 101 includes, but is not limited to:

• General skin knowledge
• Sanitation/Set up
• Importance of skin preparation
• Priming of the face & eyes
• Selecting correct coverage & finish for you client
• Proper highlight/contour placement
• Conquering different eye shapes
• False lash application
• General information on free lance makeup/pricing
• Artist kit must haves
• Brush basics
